SWIPE to see the AFTER… drywall over most of the brick (but choose to keep some of it as we love the vintage vibe), Get rid of alllll the RED putting in a super plush griege carpet that coordinated with the hearth, black cabinet built-ins on the new media wall with brushed brass pulls, and we had to keep the Chevron cedar walls (obviously!)

Who doesn’t love a good before and after?! Posted • This room was the room that made me really excited to get my hands on this 1970’s home! The fireplace, the mantel, the ceiling, and the windows! It was a home that was very well taken care of, just needed an update. It’s done!!! 9 months of dreaming, and it just makes me SO happy!! This space is connected to our kitchen where we will gather with loved ones and hopefully one day nap on the sofa after reading books by the fire.
