This handmade bookcase features clean lines and a light, airy structure that highlights the natural grain of Ash wood. The main body consists of two, shelves supported by upright side panels with gentle chamfers and rounded edges for a refined, modern touch.
A distinguishing feature is the angled lower shelf, which serves as a magazine or book trough, adding both functionality and visual interest. The joinery is clean and deliberate, mortise and tenon and dowels, emphasizing craftsmanship.
Small Peruvian walnut accents are subtly integrated which is strap reinforcement on the lower end of the leg, adding contrast and a sense of artisanal detail without overwhelming the natural tone of the Ash.
The piece is unpainted but finished with a clear coat, allowing the wood’s light color and swirling grain patterns to take center stage. 586$
