Design Process

Our home went through many different versions as I was drawing, and the first one shown was what we initially issued for pricing. While we loved the floor plan and the L-shaped configuration, we quickly realized that it wasn’t feasible once we shifted to the RTM model. While it was possible to construct it in two pieces off-site and reassemble once it arrived, it just wasn’t in our budget!

Thus, I completely redesigned the entire thing in a whopping 4 days. Some things stayed the same, like the kitchen layout and the “hidden” ensuite in the master, but overall I would say we’re even happier with our home after working through that major setback.

Framing Views

There are aspects of every season that makes them my favourite. In summer it is undoubtedly watching cumulonimbus cloud formations and storms roll in.

Seeing such clouds framed in our home is a pinch-me moment, to be sure.
