We’re stoked to share: we’re now calling ourselves Highline Painters! Same crew, same reliable work, just a new name that fits us better.

We’ll keep focusing on what we do best - residential interiors, new home projects, multi-unit buildings, and the occasional exterior job (so long as the sun's shining).

Our goal hasn’t changed. We want to make painting simple, clean, and stress-free, while building lasting relationships with homeowners, builders, and property managers around Halifax.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far. If you’ve got a project in mind, reach out anytime.

It’s been a minute! We have been pulled inside out on projects this Fall, and this oldie but goodie was a push to complete before the cold and wet weather settled in. Located in the oldest Acadian community in Nova Scotia, the future of this property is in very good hands and we can’t wait to see how the owners dreams come to life! Thanks to for another adventure 🤜

Another little peek at the bathroom … crown moulding and wallpaper are making a comeback! We get reaaaaaally pumped to work with colour and mood and theme. Just like the owners of the newest photography studio rental here on the eastern shore!

Are we still doing ?! Here’s a gem in Lawrencetown we freshened up this past summer for a couple gems ! We loved working with bold colours that contrasted so well with the ocean views. Sometimes all you need is a fresh coat to make your place feel brand new again! 😍

Yo! My name is Alex, owner of AB Painting. I started this business during the first lockdown of 2020, because why not?! We take on projects small and large, all over the HRM. My girlfriend made me get Instagram because she thinks we’re up to cool things with painting (and just might be the one behind my new online presence and exceptional grammar skills). Follow along for adventures in painting, surfing, and living on the eastern shore! We promise it’ll be more fun than watching paint dry 😂😎

Hello everyone! Long time, no see!

As you can probably tell, we are going through a few changes here - new logo, new website, and new projects are keeping us busy and excited about the future!

We've been working hard at a large 100-unit commercial project and have implemented a new niche painting technique to provide our customers more options for updating their spaces. We can't wait to share photos with you really, really soon!
