Every so often I get a job that really brings out the best in a home. I love a natural wood, cottage feel but it can definitely feel dark and dated. This stairwell had the warm characteristics of cozy, and a homeowner with a vision to modernize it. Her and myself think it turned out AMAZING.

Quality paint is important because it will stick to the previous paint. As seen here, the top layer was not adhesive and what started as a small nick turned into a larger repair. If you are unsure what to use, ask in comments or PM, or go you your local paint store!

This week I had a special job of painting a newly renovated basement for a creative work space. The wall ceiling and trim were painted (colour drenching) in Whithered White (colour by Bher, colour matched with Dulux Diamond Interior). I absolutely recommend this colour for any room needing warmth and cozy feel. πŸ’›οΏΌοΏΌ
