Foxhole Design

Foxhole Design Miniature Painting, Custom Battlefield Terrain and Resin & Foam Models for Tabletop Wargaming I’m located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

After years of painting award-winning miniatures, building beautiful wargaming terrain, and molding and casting my own buildings, vehicles and accessories, I’ve decided to start offering my services to the public. I have been painting miniatures for more than thirty years and have won many awards for them, most recently sweeping first place in all four categories (25mm, 15mm, Epic Scale, and Stars

hip Scale) at the Ground Zero Games East Coast Convention VX (GZG ECC VX), February 24 to 26, 2012. Please take a look around the website and drop me a line if there’s anything you’re interested in. I’m always willing to provide a quote for custom work and discuss what sorts of terrain and buildings I can create for you!

I just let my foxholedesign.com web hosting and email go. I've held onto it for years, but I've been paying for something I use far too infrequently to continue the expense. Please contact me through Facebook Messenger if you need to get ahold of me.

I haven't painted any minis in a few months, but I have a client that wants me to paint a bunch of WW2 figures. So I decided to paint a few of my minis that have been sitting around for months to get back into the swing of things... What do you think?

They're from "Firefly Adventures: Browncoats and Brigands". There are still five 'Thugs' to paint, but I'm almost there.

Next on to my client's minis and then to finish painting my copy of "Mansions of Madness" (some of those minis are in the background of these photos).

Some figures I painted for a client. They're from a game called "The Grimm Forest".

These are the miniatures I've been painting in January for the Kingston Gaming Nexus Golden Brush painting competition that ends Feb. 2 (the painting, that is). The dwarf frigate (Large Figure category) ate up way more of my painting time than I thought it would, so I went simpler for the others than I was planning (Unit and Single Figure categories).

I'll be sure to let you know when online voting opens. But don't vote for mine unless you think they're the best. There are lots of other great figures too!

I spent a couple of months putting together a bunch of Ghostbusters kit for my friend Dave and me. Two proton packs with lights and sound, two sets of Ecto-goggles, a PKE meter, and a Ghost Trap.

Prices coming soon. :)

Since I’m (mostly) healed from my carpal tunnel surgery, and while I’m waiting for surgery on my other hand, I am once again taking orders for buildings and miniature painting! If you’re interested in anything, please drop me a line.

I’ve attached some photos of what I’ve been painting in the past few months since my surgery, just so you know what I’ve been up to.

Miniatures that I have painted since my carpal tunnel surgery. These are all from the beginning of November 2016 to the end of February 2017.
