CAUTION:

We are having more & more customers call us concerned with an HVAC contractor condemning their furnace due to cracked heat exchangers.

The Wizard visited another one today, only to find out, via a scope and good eye there was no crack. This elderly lady was saved $7000, but there are many others who are purchasing equipment they don’t necessarily need.

We are asking friends, neighbours, & family members to be vigilant. Especially for our vulnerable demographic group.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Ed Gouw who passed away on Sunday October 8th, 2023.
Ed first started at KB Heating in 1996, he retired in 2010 and came back the following year working part time keeping the plumbing bay organized until 2019.
Ed was always keeping the “young” guys inline, so they did not waste any pipe or fittings. He was also a very handy guy, his last visit to the shop he was getting some fittings to make himself a rail to help him get down the stairs to his beloved garden.
He will be greatly missed by us all, our condolences to Marion and his family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at ST. ANDREWS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1818 5 Ave S, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Daniel Surya, officiating.
