Studio scales est un studio de design axé sur la conception personnalisée de projets inspirants à multiples échelles. Ce rebrand marque effectivement le début d'une nouvelle ère pour notre studio et nous avons hâte pour la suite.

| Le propriétaire de ce triplex, situé dans l'arrondissement Cité-Limoilou à Québec, souhaitait restaurer la façade arrière et la cour tout en offrant à chaque locataire un espace extérieur privé, unique et de qualité.🪜

En plus de la démolition des tambours existants, la restauration des finis et l’intégration de nouvelles terrasses à chaque étage, nous avons également repensé l’aménagement paysager en intégrant de larges paillis d'ardoise sous l'allée d'arbres, qui font écho aux nouveaux graminées entre l'allée et la terrasse. Cet aménagement a contribué à métamorphoser ce terrain accidenté en une cour épurée, créant un mélange d'ordre et de détente.🌾

| The owner of this triplex, located in the Cité-Limoilou borough of Quebec City, wanted to restore the rear facade and courtyard while providing each tenant with a private, unique, and high-quality outdoor space. 🪜

In addition to demolishing the existing entryway structures, restoring the finishes and integrating new terraces on each floor, we also reimagined the landscaping by incorporating large slate paving stone beneath the tree-lined pathway, echoing the new grasses between the pathway and the terrace. This landscaping helped convert this rugged terrain into a clean and serene courtyard, creating a blend of order and relaxation. 🌾

| Rendu extérieur et plans conceptuels du chalet Durivage. ✨

~ Ce chalet est composé de trois volumes distincts : l'existant, le passage vitré et l'agrandissement.

~ L'organisation des espaces se déploie selon deux axes, à savoir la connexion latérale des trois volumes et la connexion transversale au niveau du passage 〰️ qui constitue un lien essentiel entre l'avant et la cour intérieure. 🌳

~ Le rythme des ouvertures permet de maximiser les vues sur la forêt tout en bénéficiant de la lumière naturelle, intégrant ainsi le chalet au paysage tout en lui conférant une atmosphère intérieure douce et harmonieuse. 🤍

| Exterior rendering and conceptual plans for the Durivage cottage. ✨

~ The cottage consists of three distinct volumes: the existing structure, the glass passage, and the expansion.

~ The spatial organization unfolds along two axes, namely the lateral connection of the three volumes and the transversal connection at the passage level 〰️which forms an essential link between the front and the interior courtyard. 🌳

~ The rhythm of the openings maximizes views of the forest while allowing for natural light, seamlessly integrating the cabin into the landscape and creating a soft and harmonious interior atmosphere. 🤍

| Bouleversements Marins est une exposition itinérante qui a pris place à la Maison de la culture Ahuntsic-Cartierville et qui trace les influences et la pratique aux multiples langages que Carmelle Pilon exploite. En plus de la conception technique et de la mise en œuvre, nous avons imaginé la scénographie de cette exposition tel un parcours de déambulation intuitif et dynamique. Nous avons décidé de regrouper ponctuellement les œuvres pour créer des moments contemplatifs, la disposition rappelant le mouvement des vagues illustrées dans l'ensemble des toiles. 🎨🖼

| Bouleversements Marins is a traveling exhibition that took place at Maison de la culture Ahuntsic-Cartierville, highlighting the influences and artistic practice with multiple languages explored by Carmelle Pilon. In addition to the technical design and implementation, we envisioned the scenography of this exhibition as an intuitive and dynamic journey. We chose to periodically group the artworks to create contemplative moments, evoking the movement of the waves depicted throughout the paintings. 🎨🖼
