I've loved painting ever since I was a child, but I never realized how much watercolor would mean to me.
A few years ago, during one of the darkest periods of my life, I found myself drawn back to painting. It wasn't a planned decision. It felt like my soul was calling me back to something I had always been meant to do.
That's when I discovered that watercolor wasn't just a hobby for me. It was a passion, a source of peace, and a way to reconnect with myself ✨

Looking back, that moment changed everything.

What has been a life-changing moment in your journey? I'd love to hear your story in the comments πŸ‘‡πŸ€

I've always been obsessed with painting skies in watercolor ☁️🎨

Last week, I spent my free time practicing different types of skies and clouds, and I learned so much about watercolor techniques, color mixing, and creating depth.

If you're a beginner in watercolor, I highly recommend painting skies. They help you practice wet-on-wet techniques, soft edges, gradients, and brush controlβ€”all essential watercolor skills.

Plus, every sky is different, so you'll never run out of inspiration ✨

One of the biggest watercolor mistakes I've made is overthinking my painting and obsessing over tiny details πŸŽ¨πŸ˜…

The more I tried to "perfect" every corner, the more I risked losing the freshness and spontaneity that make watercolor painting so beautiful.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do as an artist is to step back, put down the brush, and call the painting finished ✨

Learning when to stop is just as important as learning watercolor techniques.

So here's your watercolor tip: trust the process, embrace imperfections, and enjoy the result 🀍

One of the biggest mistakes I made when learning watercolor painting was trying to finish the entire painting in one session 🎨

A good watercolor technique is to paint in layers. Let each layer dry completely before adding shadows, details, and darker values. This creates more depth and helps you avoid muddy colors.

If you're a beginner watercolor artist, remember: patience is one of the most important watercolor skills you can develop. The best watercolor paintings are often built layer by layer.

This simple watercolor tip completely changed the way I paint and helped me improve my artwork.

Do you struggle with patience when painting? Let me know in the comments πŸ‘‡
