We were proud to sponsor the jerseys of this amazing U13 Mount Forest Mavericks Hardball team and support a season of building friendships, creating memories, and learning the value of teamwork.

The Mavericks gave it everything they had in the final tournament this past weekend, and they left it all on the field! Their grit, heart, and sportsmanship showed what true champions look like, even though the scoreboard didn't go their way.

🔨 WE’RE HIRING: EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL CARPENTER

V&M Construction is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team in a full-time, permanent position.

We complete custom homes, major renovations, and additions throughout Mount Forest and the surrounding area. Approximately half of this position will involve finish carpentry, with the remainder covering framing, renovations, and general residential carpentry.

Skill matters, but character comes first.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in quality workmanship
• Is dependable, punctual, and organized
• Communicates honestly and takes ownership
• Has residential and finish-carpentry experience
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Treats clients, coworkers, and trade partners with respect
• Has the potential to grow into site leadership and trade coordination
• Has a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

POSITION DETAILS

• Full-time, permanent employment
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Projects generally within one hour of Mount Forest
• Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, skill, and responsibility
• Company-supplied power tools and equipment where appropriate
• Opportunity to grow into greater responsibility and leadership

We’re open to an experienced carpenter, lead carpenter, or strong intermediate carpenter with the right character and potential.
