🌳A bit of trimming + removal of a few overgrown shrubs that were replaced with dwarf varieties that will grow into their space perfectly 👌

Clients requested mostly evergreen plants, a Japanese maple and columnar shapes to be incorporated.

Drought tolerant and deer resistant plants were the aim for this one. Grasses frame the new path with a few accent shrubs for colour.

A new gravel area for parking + native(ish) shade garden 🌿❤️

Not much will grow under a Cedrus in shady dry conditions. We went with a variety of Rhodos and oregon grape with salal as a ground cover to retain moisture💧 and minimize space for w**ds to move in! 🙌

Weeds were removed and new mulch and plants were added to help suppress new w**d growth, retain moisture and cover the open areas.

🌸We needed *drought tolerant and rabbit resistant* plants so we went with ground cover thyme - a mix of 'Elfin' and 'Red creeping' and a few Sedum 'Angelina' for a pop of yellow to play off the yellow in the Nandina shrubs near the entrance 😊👌

(Made scape pesto, fermented scapes and scape salt!🤤👌)

When about 4 of the bottom leaves have turned brown, they will be ready to harvest! 🙌🧄
