Making a replacement handle to a manual hole auger for a client. This was their grandfather’s tool and the old handle was cracked and broken. Turned a new handle out of some straight grained walnut. Applied a few coats of oil and a coat of bees wax to give it that lush look and protect it for years to come.

Having some fun.... I made an axe! Well, a tiny axe that is! This was a piece of scrap and a piece of metal from a tin can in the recycle bin. I cut the piece out of the can, flatten it and shaped it. I took my razor saw and made a kerf in the handle to mount the axe head. This is for a fun little birdhouse I made for the Scouts Maker Challenge.
