Good Morning! I’m getting my groove back after a very difficult 2025 dealing with the loss of my Mum, grief, and a few health challenges. The therapeutic value of my plants has helped significantly and when I’m taking care of them I often listen to plant podcasts 🪴 On the Ledge is one of my favourite ones because not only is the host extremely knowledgeable, she also brings in very knowledgeable guests. This one is a rebroadcast of a subject that is personally one of my houseplant pet peeves…. Plant shine! Is it healthy for the plant or detrimental? As a horticulturalist I am strongly against it and in this podcast you’ll learn why! Also this includes homemade ones, especially Mayo!!!

Throwback Thursday! Now that winter is almost here and I have a bit of downtime from work I’ve been going through boxes of family photos and I came across this gem! In 1996 I had just graduated with my Diploma in Landscape Management from Olds College. I had already been working for the City of North Battleford Parks Department since 1994. I have always worked in the trade and have over 30 years of experience. Time flies, especially when you’ve devoted your life to something that you love 🪴🌱🪴🌱 It’s going to be nice today so I’ll be finishing up some long overdue yard clean up, that and planting the bulbs I forgot I bought 😩- Lana

My favourite things at Bosers Greenhouse right now!!!! It’s total fall vibes in there!!! The houseplants are also all 20% off right now! They are only going to have the North Battleford location open until September 28th though so time’s running out ⏰ 😢

Kokedama update!!!! Remember when I made these back last November? If you don’t that’s okay! First pic is today! Look at that growth! Kokedama is not only beautiful but it’s fun to watch them grow and they are so easy to care for! 🪴 Lana
