The Tennis Museum, Miguel Cysneiros, Cindy Cysneiros, Michael Cysneiros & David Cysneiros and the Cysneiros Family in Canada and Portugal, are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our great friend, mentor and world leader Dr James E Loehr, Jim Loehr. To Jim's family and all friends around the world our deepest condolences!
Jim was a larger than world personality, top world Human and Sports performance leader, Coach,
Scientist and Tennis Player/ Coach.
A Superstar leader of the performance and Sports universe, yet the warmest, easy going and simple connecting person.
Always caring and concerned with everyone's stories, with warm advise, the smile and witty positive response.
Myself, Cindy, Michael and David, are thankful for the times we spent together at PTR, USPTA ( RSPA) Conferences, visits at LGE, HPI at Lake Nona, and wonderful dinners together.
I am forever thankfull for the invites as Jim's keynote speaker guest to the World Conference for Sports Psychology, & International Sport Psychology Conferences in Portugal in the 90's. I marveled how Jim, in his clear, simple, deeply knowledgeable way, presented and discussed his practical application and real life performance experience based Sport Psychology concepts, founded on the real physiology and physical responses of the subject participants and players. He debated in such clear advantage, the most complicated opinions, and theory of other colleagues, highly educated experts of the cognitive process. What a time, rushing out during the conference breaks and practicing hard on the clay courts of Braga, and National Tennis Center, Jamor, Lisbon, where I grew up playing!!!
For all of us millions of players and coaches he made playing and coaching so much easier and simpler to Coach. I became so much better as a coach, leader and father.
Jim was also so proud of his family, parents and his children.
We will miss his presence, and his voice! His contributions will last forever. Thank you for all your work, your friendship and your Positive Response lessons.
Rest in Peace Jim! We will keep up the Energy and Character!
