Happy Friday from the Novation Builders TEAM! 🔨

It’s been a high-tempo week on site, with major progress across two of our active builds 🏠. Here is a quick look at what we wrapped up before the weekend:

Custom Client Build

✅ Concrete & Mechanicals: Major milestone this week as W.J. Brothers and Sons poured the concrete floors 🏗️.
✅ Rough-Ins & Site Work: Maximum Power kicked off the electrical rough-in ⚡, Marine Contractors wrapped up the backfill, and our crew completed most of the plumbing and HVAC 🛠️.

Spec Home Build

✅ Prep & Framing: Marine Contractors stayed busy bringing in 10 loads of 4-inch stone and Class A gravel for the garage and driveway prep, along with completing the site backfill 🚜.
✅ Structure: The team made great momentum framing out the floor joists and laying down the subfloor.

A build only moves as fast and efficiently as the people behind it. Massive thanks to our reliable trade partners—Maximum Power Electrical Services, W.J Brothers & Sons Concrete Contractors Ltd, and Marine Contractors Inc.—for keeping these projects running seamlessly.

Update #9: Corner Brook Gospel Hall Rebuild 🎉

We have officially hit a major milestone! The building is fully completed, occupancy has been granted, and key turnover to the owners is complete!

We are proud to share that we met our targeted completion date of July 31, 2026. Our team couldn't be prouder of how this build came together, and we are thrilled for the new owners as they prepare to bring this space to life.

What’s next:

- Interior furnishings & final touches in progress 🛋️

- Final walkthrough photos coming next week! 📸

It has been an incredibly busy week, and we’re loving the momentum. From foundations to final finishes, we are moving fast and making things happen across the region.

Here is a quick look at what we've been up to:

* 📐 **Pasadena:** Wrapped up another successful concrete basement pour.

* 🏠 **Taylor Estates:** Got the eavestroughs installed and looking sharp.

* 🔨 **Corner Brook:** Major progress at the Country Road Gospel Hall (CRGH) site! Inside, we have cabinets, flooring, painting, and electrical/plumbing finishes all underway. Outside, the civil works parking lot project has officially kicked off!

Quality recognizes quality. 🤝

At Novation Builders, we don't often run into teams that mirror our own obsession with detail, but the crew at Bungay Renos is a notable exception. We recently stepped in to handle the foundation work on one of their projects, and it’s refreshing to collaborate with a company that understands that a premium finish is only as good as the structural integrity beneath it.

There’s nothing like a good hole in the ground. A huge shoutout to Marine Contractors for going above and beyond on our excavations this week. Their precision and hard work has set the stage for what’s coming next.

The groundwork is officially laid—now it’s time for Novation Builders Inc. to get to work on the structure! 👷🏼‍♂️🛠️

Project Tour - Country Road Gospel Hall

It’s been a journey from the tear-down to today! We’re officially seeing the interior of the brand-new Country Road Gospel Hall come together.

Here is the latest from the site:

• The Auditorium: We’ve reached the final stages of plastering! It’s finally starting to look like the beautiful space it’s meant to be. 🪜

• The Prep Work: Door frames and window trims are being prepped for paint as we speak. 🖌️

• The Big Step: The flooring is officially on-site! It’s currently laid out to climatize so everything is perfect for the installers to start this Tuesday. 🛠️

Building something new takes time, heart, and a lot of hard work. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through these new doors soon!

Dustin joined us on May 12th last year, and he’s been a total game-changer ever since. As a Journeyman Carpenter, there’s nothing he can’t handle—his skill, knowledge, and attention to detail are top-tier.

But beyond the craft, it’s Dustin’s attitude that makes the biggest impact. He’s incredibly reliable and brings a cheerful, upbeat energy that lightens the mood for the entire crew.
