Another house getting a fresh new look!

Quite the difference from where we started on this one! Been working our way around the entire house, straightening out those old wavy walls as we go and getting everything looking nice and clean.

Keeping the existing flashing, adding some fresh white trim detail, and finishing it off with Willow Green Kaykan siding. The green and white sure make a nice combination!

Always nice seeing an older home get a little love and a whole new look. Proud of how this one's turning out!

When booking a job with Valley Boy Finishing, please keep in mind that scheduling deposits are non-refundable. This is a standard practice in the trades, as accepting a deposit means we are setting aside time in our schedule specifically for your project and potentially turning away other work to honour that commitment.

We kindly ask that all customers are completely sure they would like to move forward with their project before sending a scheduling deposit.

We also encourage everyone to carefully read through their estimate and contract before transferring any funds. All terms and conditions are outlined in the paperwork provided, and we're always happy to answer any questions or clear up any concerns beforehand.

We understand that plans can change, but as a small local business, our time and scheduling are an important part of keeping things running smoothly.

This old house got a fresh new look, and there was no shortage of work getting it there!

With 20-foot walls, plenty of windows to flash, and some tricky custom flashing around the wood accent on the front porch, this one definitely kept me busy. A lot of time and attention, but seeing it all come together makes it worth it.

Always nice to see an older home getting some new life breathed into it!

Removed the old backing around this door and installed new backing and flashing to get everything sealed up properly. Finished it off with new J-channel and reinstalled the existing siding for a clean finished look.

Nothing too wild, just a good little job and another one checked off the list. It’s the small details that help keep a home looking good and protected from the weather.

Another one coming together here in the Valley.

Making some good progress on this siding job. We’ve been working our way around the house, getting everything built out properly, flashed up and ready before the new siding goes on.

Still a little ways to go, but she’s already starting to look like a different house. There’s something pretty satisfying about watching an old home get a fresh new look one wall at a time.

Proud to be doing this kind of work right here in the Ottawa Valley.

Added some white flashing around the house yesterday. Hung it down a few inches under the starter strip.

Really frames up the wall nice and helps divert water from running down the face of the foundation. Leading to deteriorating and water staining.

Another siding job coming along nicely here in the Ottawa Valley!

We’ve been working our way around this two-storey home with 1½” foam and strapping, new window flashing, and fresh vinyl siding. Still lots more to go, but we’re really liking how the blue and white are coming together so far.

Taking our time and doing it right, one wall at a time.

Started getting this old two-storey home ready for some new siding. We’re going over it with 1½” foam and strapping, building out and flashing all the windows and doors, then finishing everything off with new vinyl siding.

A fair bit of work goes into these older homes before you ever get to start hanging siding, but doing the prep right makes all the difference in the end.

Looking forward to seeing this one all finished up. Should be quite the change!
