We’re proud to share the recent sale of an Astec Peterson 5710E Horizontal Grinder to a valued partner in Southern Ontario.

This isn’t just a piece of equipment changing hands, it’s the beginning of a relationship built on trust, reliability, and a shared commitment to getting the job done right. We’re incredibly grateful for the faith this company has placed in us as their dealer, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly.

The Peterson 5710E is built for serious production and demanding environments, powered with 1,125 horsepower, and a massive 60” x 40” feed opening and an advanced 3-stage grinding process designed to maximize efficiency and deliver a consistent end product. With a large rotor, high-capacity screening area, and the ability to process hundreds of cubic yards per hour, this machine is engineered to handle everything from land clearing to wood waste and recycling applications with ease.

We were proud to support this week’s Stationary Rope Systems Workshop with the Ontario Commercial Arborist Association (OCAA).

Thank you to the OCAA for the invitation and for the work you continue to do to strengthen the arborist community across Ontario. Events like this bring professionals together to learn, share experience, and keep raising the bar for safety and skill in the industry.

At Cardinal Equipment, we believe strongly in supporting education, training, safety and the people who make this industry what it is. It was great to see such strong engagement from everyone who attended.
