This is the part of the job where the fence really starts to take shape.

We’re hanging the mesh and tying everything off, and the workflow matters. Once we get a long run up, the crew keeps hanging ahead while we come back and start tying post and rail. It keeps the line tight, the install clean, and the whole project moving at a fast, steady pace.

445 feet of 4-foot, all-black residential chain link fence at an absolutely stunning property near Bridgewater Nova Scotia.

Up front we’re installing a 102-inch double swing gate with two different leaf sizes, plus standard access gates at the back and front. The homeowner also wanted a rounded fence line that follows the natural flow of the driveway down toward the water.

Not every fence line has to be dead straight, sometimes you get to work with the lay of the land.

On this recent chain link job, we rolled the top rail so it follows a gentle curve down toward the lake as the driveway drops.

The result is a clean, consistent line that flows.
