BEING FLOORED WITH FOAM! | Why Spray Foam Makes Sense Under Your Feet
Floors are one of the most overlooked parts of the building envelope — especially when space is tight.
Crawl spaces. Retrofits. Concrete floors. Low floor assemblies. Areas where you may only have a few inches to work with.
This is exactly where closed-cell spray foam can shine.
Unlike sheets of rigid insulation that have to be cut, fitted, joined and pieced together, spray foam is installed in place. It expands into the available space and bonds directly to the substrate, creating a continuous insulation layer without hundreds of cut edges and seams.
