⚡ WE’RE HIRING: Field Services Team Member ⚡

Like the idea of a job where you’re not stuck behind a desk every day?

Dynamo is looking for a technically minded professional to join our Field Services team, supporting industrial and utility clients across a wide range of projects.

You’ll get a mix of field work, technical problem-solving, engineering support, and client interaction — with no two projects necessarily looking the same.

🔌 Electrical power & control systems
⚡ Generators, transformers, breakers & protection relays
🛠 Testing, commissioning, maintenance & troubleshooting
📋 Technical reports & proposals
🤝 Client support & project coordination

We’re looking for someone with a technical diploma or degree, specialized experience in their field, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

If you enjoy solving problems, working with clients, and getting out in the field, this could be your next opportunity.

Testing verifies more than equipment performance, it verifies safety, reliability, and readiness before systems are returned to service.

Careful setup, accurate testing procedures, and attention to detail are critical when working with electrical equipment and protective devices.

Doing the work properly protects both people and infrastructure.

A project doesn’t start when the first piece of equipment is installed.

Sometimes it starts with a line of trucks heading north.

Getting crews, equipment, tools, materials and support vehicles to a remote site takes planning and coordination long before the work begins.

For Dynamo’s field teams, the journey to site is part of the job.

A control panel is where an engineered system becomes something that can actually operate.

For this municipal wastewater application, Dynamo fabricated an A/B PLC panel designed to monitor and manage operational functions.

The build included the NEMA-rated enclosure, PLC and OEM components, relays, wiring, and software licensing. Before leaving our facility, the panel also went through CSA inspection and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

Good panel fabrication is about more than putting components in an enclosure. It is about building a system that is organized, testable, and ready to perform in the field.

From steel and components to a fully engineered electrical solution.

These E-Houses were built at Dynamo's manufacturing facility in Regina, Saskatchewan, where our manufacturing and construction teams bring complex electrical infrastructure projects to life.

E-Houses allow critical electrical equipment to be assembled, integrated and tested in a controlled environment before being delivered to site. This can help streamline installation and reduce the amount of work required in the field.

What starts as a structure in our shop can ultimately become a critical part of a customer's power system.

That's the kind of work we like building.

Not every transformer needs to be replaced.

Sometimes the smarter solution is to assess the existing equipment, identify what can be restored, and put the asset back to work.

Our Henderson manufacturing facility supports transformer refurbishment work, giving customers another option when maintaining or extending the life of existing electrical infrastructure makes sense.

From fabrication and repair to inspection and finishing, the work requires the same attention to detail and practical experience that goes into building new equipment.

Sometimes reliability isn't about starting over.

It's about making what you already have work harder and last longer.

Continuous learning is an important part of delivering reliable electrical solutions.

Today, members of our team had the opportunity to learn more about Resistance Grounding Systems during a Lunch & Learn presented by Kehinde Ehineni from I-Gard Corporation.

Sessions like these give our team the opportunity to expand their technical knowledge, ask questions, and explore real-world applications that help us better support our clients.

A big thank you to Kehinde and the I-Gard team for taking the time to share their expertise with us.

Most incidents don’t happen because someone intended to make a mistake.

They happen when hazards are missed, assumptions are made, or routines take over.

Taking a few extra moments to inspect, verify, and reassess can prevent serious incidents before work even begins.

Installing equipment is only part of the job.

Before a system is put into service, it needs to be tested, verified, and commissioned.

That's where experience matters.

Commissioning helps ensure equipment operates as intended, performs reliably, and is ready when operations need it most.

When everything works the first time, it's usually because a lot of work happened before energization.
