From damaged and swollen, to as good as new! ✨

These MDF cabinets were only a couple of years old when they started dimpling and swelling. Water-based systems have basically taken over the cabinet game. While technology has come a long way, MDF ALWAYS needs to be sealed before any water-based coating is applied. This important step was skipped on these cabinets, which made them a ticking time bomb!

We fully stripped the damaged cabinets, scraped off the soft MDF, and coated the smoothed surface with a wood hardener to strengthen the MDF again. Then we were finally able to sand, fill imperfections, properly seal the cabinets, and coat them with a catalyzed finish.

We are so incredibly proud of the results on this one. It may be a heck of a lot of work, but it's much more affordable than full replacement. Bringing cabinets back to life is what we do! 🥳

These Clients were sick of the dated antiqued look, and the existing coating was starting to fail in some areas. We opted for a bright yet warm white to modernize the space! Not only is the result aesthetically pleasing, but the catalyzed coating guarantees unmatched durability and longevity. In an industry oversaturated with cheap painted cabinets, we refinish!

And an island to match! Swipe for the before ➡️➡️

We had previously refinished the main cabinets for this client in a beautiful off-white, and they had us back to refinish their island as well! Few things mean more to us than a client loving our work so much, they have us back in for more projects.

To the many repeat (and one time!) clients we’ve had over the years, thank you endlessly. As a small family business, your trust doesn’t mean more luxury vacations or a fancier home. It means another meal on our kid’s plates or a new pair of runners for their endlessly growing feet. You all are the reason we are able to do what we do. ❤️

One of our favourite kitchen transformations to date! 👀

There was so many little intricacies and details to this project, and Josh loved all of it! We:

-Refinished the kitchen cabinets, 2 vanities, built-in shelving unit, and the railing in an off-white that flows perfectly with the rest of the space
-Stripped & re-stained the island and coffee bar in a gorgeous dark walnut to bring in some rustic warmth

I’ll forever wish pictures did justice to the beauty and depth of wood grain. When a camera captures grain it always seems to come out either blotchy or tiger stripey 🥲 It’s one of those things that needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated.

Hi all! We’ve been a little preoccupied growing a tiny human while raising another one… but it’s 2026 and we are so back!

We can’t wait to share all the work we completed while Kass was pregnant and recovering (read: balancing chasing a toddler with healing from a major surgery while post-partum). There’s plenty of beautiful kitchens to show you all! 🥰

Love this rustic, charming update! 😍 Swipe for befores!

Our wonderful client recently purchased a lakefront log home, and is in the process of renovating. It’s a beautiful home full of character, but EVERYTHING is orange or yellow wood. We refinished the maple cabinets to a clean, gorgeous white to start the process of modernizing the home! We can’t get enough of how gorgeous the slat shaker doors look in the new colour! 😍😍😍

Kitchen goals 😍😍😍 swipe to see before!

Smooth and modern is always gorgeous, and the vast majority of what we do when we refinish cabinetry. But, if you can’t tell by the endless close ups, we’re a little obsessed with the rustic feel of leaving the grain! It fit so perfectly with this farmhouse to keep the character of the high end oak cabinetry. This Client opted for a new island in a wood tone- but we’ll actually be refinishing that in October as well!
