May 5th 2026 is Red Dress Day. A day that we raise awareness for all the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+) in Canada. Indigenous Woman, Girls, and 2-Spirit People are significantly more likely to be missing or murdered than Caucasian woman, yet the resolution rate of these crimes is far less. In honour of all the MMIWG2S+ and their families, we have a selection of Red Dress Day earrings. Proceeds from the sales of these pieces will be donated to a local organisation supporting Indigenous Woman.

For personal reasons we took break over the last year. Adding two additional foster kids making us a family of 6, changing careers in our “day jobs”, and a few health issues made running Bits and Beads a challenge.
