Attention, friends and valued customers! At Amp’d Electric, your safety is our top priority. We want to bring to your attention a critical issue that could be lurking in your home: the hazards of stab-lock breakers not tripping.

What’s the Risk?

Stab-lock breakers are known for sometimes failing to trip during overloads, leading to excessive current flow. This can result in overheating and, as shown in the picture, can cause burn marks or even fires!

Without tripping, these breakers allow excessive heat build-up, increasing the risk of electrical fires.🔥

Out with the old in with the new!

This customer was looking for some more space in their panel for a future renovation. In the process, we eliminated a potential fire hazard: a couple loose connections in the existing panel. Luckily we got it fixed up before an issue occurred.
