LOOKING FOR – JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

RTC Electric Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team.

Work Locations: Smithers, Hazelton, Stewart, and remote mine sites throughout Northern BC.

Wage:
$45–$55 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations
• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Service work and maintenance
• New construction and renovation projects
• Mine site electrical work
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to code

Ideal Person Has:
• Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Willingness to travel and work at remote locations when required

Preferred Experience:
• Knowledge of Residential, Commercial systems
• Industrial and mine-site electrical work
• Knowledge of underground electrical systems and the mines act
• Service and troubleshooting
