Concrete base works now underway for a new 11kV/415V distribution substation as part of a major infrastructure upgrade project.

Working alongside Energy Network Services on the design and build package, the installation includes a new 2000kVA transformer, Schneider RN2d RMU, LV feeder pillar, HV infrastructure and associated civils.

The project has also involved extensive trenching and enabling works, including specialist vacuum excavation to safely expose and navigate existing buried services across the site.

A lot of planning, coordination and design work has gone into getting this project to site, so it’s great to see the groundworks progressing and the installation starting to take shape.

Good progress from all involved.
