CERF Canada’s 11th Annual Fundraising Gala in Markham, which raised over $703,000 for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.

I was honoured to donate my painting “Allah — Kufic in Gold” to the auction, and grateful that it raised $1,500 towards life-saving cancer treatment for patients who could not otherwise afford it.

Thick paint, bold strokes, and blooms that practically jump off the canvas. These floral pieces were all created with a palette knife, layering colour and texture until the petals came alive.

Want to paint one of your own? Join my Fall Floral Palette Knife workshop on Sunday, November 8, 10 am–12 pm in Bathurst Manor, North York. All materials included, small group, step-by-step guidance. No experience needed.
