It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Peter Willis, who left us in the early hours of Monday, July 7th, 2025, at home in Toronto, Ontario.
Peter passed peacefully, surrounded by love. Just hours before bed, he spent a beautiful summer evening on the porch (his favourite place) rocking in his cherished chair, with his loving wife Catherine, his devoted children Sayuri and Emmanuel, and his loyal dog Nico by his side. It was a simple, quiet moment, but one that reflects the deep love and joy he always carried with him.
Peter was not only a loving husband and father, but a gentle soul whose presence brought warmth and light to all who knew him. He had a gift for making people feel seen and heard, and he filled our lives with laughter, wisdom, and kindness. Whether he was producing new tracks, playing songs from his favourite artists, designing decks, or sharing stories, Peter lived fully and gave generously of his time and heart.
Though we are heartbroken, we are also incredibly grateful for the years we had with him, and for the love he gave so freely. His spirit will live on in every conversation, every quiet moment on the porch, and every act of kindness done in his memory.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. It means more than words can express.
