Mice getting in? Trevor found their secret entrances! 🐭🏠

Tech Trevor from the Hammertown SWAT Division was called to a home dealing with constant mice activity, but the homeowners couldn't figure out where they were getting inside.

After a thorough inspection, Trevor discovered multiple entry points with clear sebum marks, the greasy residue rodents leave behind when repeatedly travelling through tight spaces.

Now it's time for proper exclusion!

Trevor walks us through the installation of SWAT's one-way door systems, securing each door to custom-fitted mesh and fastening everything around the identified openings.

The mice can exit, but once those doors close, there's no getting back through!

Beautiful property. Not-so-beautiful roof damage! 🏑🦝🐿️

Tech Tony is out in Fenelon Falls, in the beautiful Kawarthas, inspecting a property dealing with some serious wildlife damage.

Squirrels and raccoons have been making themselves at home, tearing through vulnerable areas along the roofline and creating multiple entry points into the property.

And the damage? It's extensive! 😳

Tony takes us through the inspection, showing just how much destruction wildlife can cause when these access points are left unprotected.

This is exactly the kind of challenge SWAT Wildlife has the experience to tackle!

Monthly rat control with SWAT! πŸ€πŸ

Tech Derick is back on site for a monthly pest management visit at a property dealing with a significant rat infestation.

SWAT Wildlife's Monthly Pest Management System includes regular inspections, monitoring, and refilling of strategically placed bait stations to help manage mice and rat activity.

Here, Derick takes us into an underground crawlspace where rodent tracks and droppings show just how active these pests have been.

These secured, tamper-resistant stations are designed to restrict access by non-target animals while helping maintain ongoing rodent control.

The Scarborough SWAT Division is back with the incredible transformation of a severely damaged roofline!

After multiple companies were unable to resolve the problem, these homeowners called SWAT Wildlife for a proper solution.

Tech Tony and Derick got to work dismantling the failing eavestrough, removing the rotted fascia, rebuilding the damaged sections, and carefully reassembling everything with proper wildlife protection.

What was once a wide-open entry point for raccoons, squirrels, mice, and rats has now been restored and secured.

The homeowners couldn't believe the difference, and neither can we!

Improper exclusion can cause serious damage 🐿️⚠️

The Hamilton SWAT Division was called to a home where exclusion work had been done before confirming the squirrel had exited humanely.

The squirrel became trapped and damaged the exhaust vent while trying to escape. Unfortunately, because the area was wildlife proofed too early, the damage got worse and the squirrel still could not get out.

SWAT was called in, helped the squirrel escape safely, and made sure no more damage was done.

Tech Jonny then removed the damaged exhaust vent and replaced it with a clean new vent that looks better, functions properly, and is protected with wildlife proof mesh.

Humane removal first. Proper exclusion after.

Commercial squirrel takeover in Oakville 🐿️🏒

Tech Derick and Tech Jonny were called to a commercial building dealing with a large squirrel infestation along the corrugated roof.

The squirrels had damaged the metal roofline, slipped inside, and created multiple dwelling areas throughout the building. Workers were seeing activity up close, and it was becoming a real concern.

This is exactly the kind of large-scale exclusion job SWAT is built for.

Jonny gets to work installing mesh along the roof entry points to help stop the squirrels from accessing the building again.

DIY Friday: skunk edition 🦨

Tech Jimmy was called to a residence where a deck had become a den site for a local skunk.

A previous wildlife company had already been out and installed sheet metal with a one-way door, but the setup was not protected underneath. Skunks love to dig, and this one did exactly that, digging right under the flashing and one-way door to get back inside.

That is where SWAT comes in.

Jimmy spotted the flaws, started trenching properly, installed mesh, secured the perimeter, and set up the one-way door differently so the skunk can leave humanely without being able to dig back underneath.

Proper trench. Proper mesh. Proper skunk exclusion.

Mice entry point confirmed 🐭

Tech Trevor was called to a residence dealing with a mice infestation.

After a detailed inspection, Trevor found the confirmed entry point. The fur, grease marks, and small opening all pointed to the same thing: mice were using this space to access the property.

Once the entry was found, Trevor set up a one-way door system so the mice can leave but cannot get back in.

Inspection done. Entry found. Exclusion set.
