HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃🍁
We’re forever grateful to our clients, staff, suppliers, and community for giving us the opportunity to build a place to work, create memories, and provide a living for local families.
With diesel prices at an all-time high, tomorrow is never promised. Today, we’re thankful for what we have and for the chance to keep fighting for tomorrow.
I don’t normally manage our social media anymore, but I wanted to share how grateful I am to everybody who supports us.
Please remember to support local. We’re not the only trade business feeling the squeeze of the economy right now. If you have a project in mind, call a local contractor—and please don’t hassle them over their quote. There’s a lot behind the cost of getting the job done.
With fuel prices where they are:
• Filling a pickup for a day costs about $337.50. That’s $1,687.50 a week.
• Dispatching our snow fleet costs about $10,827 in fuel per storm.
• Over an average winter, that’s about $216,540 just for fuel.
That’s just fuel. And only for a fraction of our business. Our excavators, dump trucks, fleet of pickup trucks, mowers, pressure washers, w**d wackers, leaf blowers, tractors…. Everything runs off fuel.
I’m beyond thankful to everyone who appreciates the effort we make to avoid passing those costs on to our customers. But to keep doing that, we need to grow.
If you’re considering hiring someone for snow removal at your business or home, please consider us. If you need excavation work, give us a call. And even if you can’t hire us right now, a referral goes a long way.
This goes for every contractor right now: support local. We’re not a given.
Thank you, everybody. ♥️
