Andy's crews are gearing up for another fabulous night of snow clearing! The tractor crew is heading out first overnight, followed by the walkway shoveling crew in the morning!
If the kiddies are home tomorrow and feel like making a snowman, send us a photo; you never know, you could see it soon here on Andy's page!

FEBRUARY 7, 2026 SNOW UPDATE:

We dispatched both our driveway clearing crew and walkway shoveling crew early this morning. We are, as of yet, unsure as to whether or not the City will be dispatching for side streets.

The City of Ottawa has posted that there are NO winter weather parking bans in effect. Please check their website regularly as this can change at any point.

The City went out in certain areas to clear side roads today. We had our crew out this morning clearing up the City plow windrows. The City did not appear to dispatch for all of our routes.

Environment Canada is forecasting another 7-10cms overnight and into the morning. We have sent our operators home for a short rest before having to go out for a probable dispatch tonight. We will keep you posted should anything change. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Happy Tuesday!
Our crew was out overnight clearing both driveways and walkways. The City has dispatched their graders for some side streets. We don't yet know if they will be doing an across the board dispatch or picking and choosing streets. We will be following up and clearing after them wherever they appear.
We will be posting more updates as we get more information.

Good morning from all of us at Andy's! We still have some operators out clearing plow ends and some still waiting for the City to go by. The walkway shovel team was dispatched at midnight, however there were a few delays in some areas and they are still out working. Thank you all for your patience as we continue on with this snow event. Have a great day!

Happy holidays from all of us at Andy's Lawn and Snow! We will be dispatching our crew later tonight for driveway snow clearing services. The time has not yet been determined, they will most likely be out all night. Both walkway and driveway crews will be dispatched.

And for your viewing pleasure, here is a photo from my home town. Each year at this time they have their annual Farm Implement Parade...and what a joy it is! Not much excitement in a small farming community. It is much different here in the big city of Ottawa!

Good afternoon! After only 3.4cms of snow fall recorded yesterday, we decided to send out our operators and shovelers. The wind had been blowing as it was snowing and the build up was overwhelming to some of our customers! After a good 24 hour run the operators are now done for the day and headed home for a nice rest. They ran all evening and night and stayed to follow up on any issues that were reported before 9am. What a bunch of diehards! We will see you next time! Have a fantastic afternoon!
