This is a custom design inspired by the stained glass artist Auguste Labouret and his windows in the Hotel Lutetia, Paris. The desire to reuse a broken piece of Florentine privacy glass in the client's home was the jumping off point for this project. From there we designed something that brings a little piece of Labouret to Saint John.

Before you go typing in the comments, yes, the original stained glass window is being saved and reused elsewhere 😉

This project was mostly storm sash and one new primary sash to create a clear view from the kitchen sink area.

Its been awhile since I've cut a timber frame but I wad delighted to have the opportunity to design and make this beauty for some good friends who love hosting. They wanted a special outdoor gathering place to bring together good food, good music, and good people.

Coming next is a flagstone floor, pizza oven, and pine tar stain.
