Best way to get things done…rise early.
Late starts tend to equal poor productivity in the trades.
The downside…trying staying up until 2am for a party 🤦‍♂️

Your team in business, from your significant other to your suppliers and clients are paramount to your success. At DGR, we refer to it as your board of directors. The team which helps keep it all together, assisting with direction and general talent. These two are an import part of our success. and
The service we get from these companies is stellar. If you run your own company and your worried about $20/hr more for a pump, and you’re already getting excellent service, some would actually leave for another service provider🤦‍♂️just to save $140 on a pour. Not us. If the service and quality are there, we’re never leaving. Loyalty means something around here.

An insane amount of work for something so small. But, for those in the construction business, you know that servicing your clients is everything. No matter what happens, you always have to get it done. Now the other part is that the $$ has to be there because everyone has bills to pay and mouths to feed.

No lack of ways to manipulate data but this one, we have to agree with. As heating prices skyrocket, the case study and comparison between traditional concrete and ICF has ICF winning overall.
And remember…we do both traditional and ICF foundations! There is no additional benefit whatsoever one way or the other if you hire us to do an ICF or traditional foundation. We call it as we see it.
Having said all that…traditional foundations have their place as does ICF. It starts with your architect and some imagination.

That sky just screams winter but to be honest, the changing of the season this time of year is always welcome.
Everyone on our team has been working hard and more importantly “smart” all year and it shows.
Our year end is just around the corner and 2023 has been a good year, working with some outstanding clients.

Anyone feel the same…potential disaster around every corner?

First of several tapered arches. Every detail ground to death to ensure it all comes together without issues.
As everyone knows, the consequences to a concrete trade getting it wrong, are, severe. No other trade risks financial disaster more. Imagine having to remove one of these giant arches and starting over 🤦‍♂️

Does it matter? If you won’t see it at the end of the project, does it matter?
We think it does. Footings vanish early in the build process. We believe that doing a killer job on those is as important as perfect door installation by a carpenter.
When everyone sweats every detail, the finished product will always be stellar and it matters. As trades people, it’s important that we all strive to be better and pass those skills and work ethic along to the next generation.
