UBC Steel Bridge Designing, drafting, fabricating, and constructing 23' model steel bridges since 1999.

For the past eighteen years, the UBC Steel Bridge Design Team has internationally represented the University of British Columbia at the National Student Steel Bridge Competition (NSSBC) in the US. This competition challenges university students to design and fabricate a scaled bridge made primarily of steel, with different rules and design constraints every year. The American Society of Civil Engi

neers (ASCE) and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) hosts this competition annually.

Are you interested in gaining experience in structural design, business management, and marketing skills? UBC Steel Bridge is recruiting members for the 2026-27 school year! Student from all faculties are welcome to apply.
