Sometimes this trend feels a little too accurate. 😂

Trying to capture the latest site updates can feel like we’re sneaking onto our own job sites just to get the content you all want to see.

And somehow, every time Madison comes up with a new video idea, the crew goes from “absolutely not” to “fine, let’s get this over with.” We’re still not sure if it’s encouragement or mild coercion. 😅

Either way, we’re grateful the guys are always good sports and willing to help us share the progress happening behind the scenes.

Stay tuned—more updates (and probably more reluctant cameos) are on the way. 🌊🔨

Craigflower at Winter’s Gate | Construction Update

Progress continues at 701 Craigflower Rd. at Winter’s Gate in partnership with MMS, and we have some
exciting milestones to share.

The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins are now underway and are scheduled to continue through to July 15. This marks another major step toward bringing these homes to life.

Our next significant project milestone will be the Construction Air Blower Test, an important quality
assurance measure that helps verify the building envelope’s performance and energy efficiency.

On the civil side, all onsite civil work has now been completed, while offsite civil servicing is scheduled to continue throughout the coming month. With construction progressing steadily, we’re pleased to report that project completion remains on track for November.

As Missing Middle housing continues to play a critical role in addressing housing needs across our communities, Rolling Tides Construction is proud to be one of the leading construction teams helping bring these developments to reality. Through projects like Craigflower at Winter’s Gate, we’re building practical, attainable housing options that strengthen our communities for generations to come.

🍩 Last Friday, we celebrated National Donut Day with a simple gesture that brought plenty of smiles to our job sites.

At Rolling Tides Construction, we know that it’s often the small things that make a big difference. Our crews show up every day with dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering quality work for our clients and communities. Taking a moment to recognize that hard work is something we believe matters.

We had the opportunity to stop by our sites with some sweet treats and share a few laughs with the teams that make everything we do possible. A special thank you to and for helping us brighten our crews’ day one donut at a time.

We’re incredibly grateful for the people behind the projects, the early mornings, long days, and consistent effort that keep our work moving forward. Celebrating our team doesn’t always require a big event; sometimes it’s as simple as a donut and a reminder that their hard work is seen and appreciated.

🏗️ Big week at Driftline (525 Paradise).

It feels like just yesterday we were introducing you to our very first development project. Now, we’re one step closer to showing you what the finished structure will look like.

The 2nd-floor exterior walls are complete, the roof is going up, and this Friday we’ll be wrapping up the roof framing on one of the biggest milestones of the build so far.

Madison will be on-site documenting it all for you, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the progress, the crew, and the craftsmanship that goes into every stage of the project.

Watching Driftline take shape from the ground up has been exciting, and we’re proud to bring you along for the journey.

You know, when we left you with the last Belmont update, we mentioned we were dealing with something on this site for the first time… and that it might shock you. 👀

Well, the truth is, we honestly weren’t even sure what the little critters were at first.

Turns out, we’ve got some new neighbours on site… bats. 🦇

As construction continued, we discovered active bat habitats in one of the homes, which meant we couldn’t proceed with demolition as planned. Instead, we had to pause, work through the proper environmental process, and first build new migration homes for them.

Now that everything has been safely relocated and handled properly, we’ve officially hit the last home on site and can confidently say the full Belmont project is well underway. 🏡

Every project comes with its surprises, but this one definitely gave us a first.

Driftline continues to make solid progress with the RTC and RTD teams on site 🏗️

Second floor exterior wall framing is now complete with roof framing currently underway. Roof sheathing is scheduled for next week as the project continues advancing through the structural phase. Perimeter fence preparation will begin shortly as site operations expand.

Well planned developments require strong ex*****on in the field. RTD and RTC continue working closely to keep the project moving efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
