It's that time of year again... seed-saving time! ๐ฑ
I haven't bought seeds for marigolds, calendula, cosmos, nasturtiums, and some others for years. I simply stop deadheading some plants, let them go to seed, then collect and save them for next year.
For onions I leave a couple in the ground so they can grow flower stalks the next year.
I still buy seeds, but saving my own has definitely saved me money over the years. I also scatter some perennial seeds right back into the garden where I want my flower patches to spread.
Only thing better than more plants is... more plants for free!! ๐
Do you save seeds from your garden?
