Cash refunds can be picked up from my home in the evenings of December 29th and 30th.

If you DM me for the address and to arrange a time, please comment here so I can try to contact you. I do not get DM notifications, so I might miss your message otherwise.

I am not available to respond until the 28th, so don't panic if you don't hear from me right away. I just want you to know what to expect for a timeline.

Remember my kid is immunocompromised, so this will be a non-contact pick up. I will leave a receipt for you to sign in the mailbox. After the receipt is signed, I'll put your refund in a ziploc in the mailbox.

Anyone not able to pick up, I can put the funds into an account I can etransfer from next week. The problem there, is since my credit union merger, their etransfer system is a mess. It will take multiple tries and cancellations at times, so this is not a very good option, and the fewer I need to wrestle with, the better for everyone. I can also arrange Paypal payments next week for anyone not able to pick up.

I will be available by DM and phone in the evenings of the 29th and 30th to make time arrangements.

I have already stated that nobody can carry over any payments, everyone is getting 100% refunds, and that I hope to get all of them ready before the end of the year, with information to follow once ready.

It is very disappointing that after trying to run the show, and not being able to, through no fault of my own, and when doing so would be at GREAT RISK to the health of my immunocompromised child, as well as the volunteers from our charity with the same health risks, someone has taken it upon themself to publicly complain about the show before that time frame is up.

I have never not refunded anyone. I have even GIFTED our vendors from the very first shows with a FREE space a few years back as a thank you.

A little update:

I'm speaking with the hotel about extra costs for new changes to see if it is feasible to run it this year. Almost at a decision.

I'm leaning towards canceling if the extra cost to hire staff would be too much.

That said, I'd love your feedback on if splitting that cost among entry fees is worth it to you guys. It might only be an extra $5 or $10, and I'm sure I could eat some of the expense, too.

Edited to add: I know I've delayed this decision this year. My son has an autoimmune disease, and our charity we fundraise for is for at-risk people. The decision isn't so much "can we?" As much as it is "should we?". Thank you for understanding ♡

I had decided that a decision would be made by Oct 1st whether the show would be held this year. This is the longest I can put it off while still having enough time to plan.

The decision has been made to not risk losing the deposit to a venue that does not issue refunds. Rescheduling is not feasible if that is all the venue will allow, therefore this year's craft sale has been cancelled.

-Those who paid in advance in December: You can stay as is with your space for next year reserved as per usual. Next year around Sept, when I open the show, anyone who has pre-paid and chooses not to participate can have a full refund (just like all past years, once I open the show, full refunds are available)

-Those who paid in advance with cheques for January: I chose out of caution to not cash those cheques. I assume I will send an email to you as soon as I open the show to see if you wish to pay at that time and retain your space.

-Those who didn't get a chance to apply early: I post here once I open the show. Return vendors get first chance to keep their spaces, as always :)

Stay safe, take good care of yourselves. I welcome any ideas you may have for how we can help you as Christmas nears. Please brainstorm any of those suggestions here, not in my email, so I can make sure to see everything in one place.

Tickets are $5 for 25 tickets. We will be keeping the information portion of the tickets so we have a means to contact the winners. We suggest you take a photo of that part of the ticket for your records. The other alternative would be to write your name and phone number on the back of every ticket, which is also ok.

If we have no way to contact you we will re-draw after two days.

The draw will be held at 5pm. Winners will be called between 5pm and 6pm, and prizes can be picked up at the venue until 6pm (probably later if I am still there). A list of winning ticket numbers with partial names will be posted here (probably the next day).

Prizes that are not picked up will be available for pick up at my home throughout the week. Any unclaimed prizes will be re-drawn until all prizes have been picked up.

Crafters and hotel employees are welcome to participate.

There is also a Free door prize raffle. Everyone can have one entry for the door prize. We will draw that winner at 5pm, and post that information along with the Raffle draw winners list.

As a FYI we did have a jewellery space open up, so if you have unusual jewellery, and it happens to be different than the other kinds we have, it is not very often we can accept jewellery :)
