I am a very goal driven, career oriented, and hard working person with 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, as well as a background in Residential & Commercial electrical/communication installations. My career path has provided me with broad experience and many opportunities, particularly involving the Canadian Oil Sands, Power Generation Plants, Electrical Transmission/Distribution
Projects, and Modular Fabrication. I am currently seeking an opportunity to apply my skills to the electrical and communication projects along the south shore of NS as well as Halifax area. I have experience performing electrical construction walk downs, performing quality control/quality assurance inspections, material take offs, verifying As-Builts, progress project status/completion based on a variety of bidding processes such as Unit-Based, Lump-Sum, and Cost-Plus. I've worked closely with project managers, estimators, coordinators, superintendents, QA/QC team, as well as our electrical field crew to obtain an on-time and high quality product. Projects I have been involved with include modular construction for clients at Suncor, CNRL, Syncrude, Tecnicas Reunidas, and Shell. Past experience had me directly involved in the Kearl Lake Oil Sands Phase 1 project and Syncrude Maintenance. Other experience I have acquired includes working with Construction Work Packages (CWP’s), Extra Work Orders (EWO’s), Labour Equipment and Materials (LEM’s), and Request for Information (RFI’s). I strive for a very high level of quality with a "done right and on time" attitude. My educational background consists of the successful completion of my Electrical Journeyman Certification through the Province of Alberta including the Electrical Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification. I also have two separate diplomas from Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC), one of which is an Advanced Diploma with Honors in Computer Network Technology and the other Diploma is in Information Systems Management & Networking. I have also obtained my CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. I am very safety oriented and I have obtained various safety certifications including:
