When installing a solar system, paying attention to details is very important. Every part—the inverter, batteries, solar panels, cables, breakers, fuses, and other accessories—must be installed correctly. A small mistake in wiring, polarity, voltage, or connection can cause poor performance or even damage the equipment.

Always check the manufacturer's instructions and confirm the correct voltage, current, cable size, and protection devices before connecting anything. Take your time to identify positive and negative terminals, AC input and output, battery connections, and earthing correctly. Never assume—test and verify every connection before switching the system on.

A good solar installation is not only about making the system work; it is about making it safe, reliable, and long-lasting. Double-check every connection, tighten terminals properly, use the correct protection, and test the system step by step. In solar installation, paying attention to small details can prevent big problems later.

Hey have you been wondering why does an MPPT charged controller generate more energy than a traditional controller?

Well the answer is not that you solar panels becomes more powerful but it's that the controller uses the available power more efficiently
That means solar panels don't produce thesame voltage and current all day . Sunlight, temperature and shading constantly change thier output . That means the panels maximum power point is always moving .

An MPPT controller continuously tracks the maximum power point and adjust its operating voltage in real time . This allows the solar panels to stay close to thier highest possible power output even as conditions change .

A traditional PWM controllers can't do that it simply matches the panels voltage to the battery voltage leaving some of the available solar energy unused .

So that's why MPPT controller is not creating extra energy it's instead helping your solar panels to capture more of the energy your panels are already capable of producing.

So have you ever wondered 🤔 how MPPT controllers actually works ?

How do you calculate the right battery size ??

Let get into it 👇👇👇

Well you only need just three simple 🤷 steps !

1) list everything you want to keep running during a blackout and add up all their wattages (W) .
For example a 150w fridge , a 100w TV and five 10w lights add up to about 300w .

2) decide how many hours of backup you will need . For example: let say you Want those appliances to run for 8 hours . Now for the calculation.

Take your total load and then multiply ✖ it by the backup hours .

So in this example above 300x8 = 2400 (2.4kwh) of energy

So finally please my people don't choose a battery that's exactly 2.4kwh.
Because it's always a good idea as professional installer to leave some extra capacity because you don't know what the client may add up in future and also for normal system losses .

What's stopping you for going solar??

Well you might think it's the cost but that's not what I hear most often some people instead worry about the upfront investment and others are not sure if solar will actually lower their electricity bills. And many people don't know what size system they need or who they can trust .

Well the truth is those are all valid concerns that's why I never recommend the same system for everyone . Because the the right solution depends on your home your energy usage, your budget and especially what you want your solar to achieve .
Because going solar is not all about buying the biggest system but is all about making the right decision with the right information ..

So I do love to know what's the biggest thing stopping you from going solar ?? Dm me let talk about it .

You have been woundering that why do most inverters especially 48volts systems uses dual MPPTs ?

Well today I'm here to break it down for you for better understanding 👇👇👇

NOTE: it's not just another feature it solved real engineering problems .
Solar Panels on thesame roof don't always receive thesame amount of sunlight . Because different roof directions or partial shading can reduce the out put of a single mppt system because one weaker string can affect the overall performance .

So with DUAL mppts the HESP series allows two pv strings to operate independently each mppt tracks the best operating point for its own string helping the system to capture more energy under real world conditions.

So the goal is not to make the inverter to be more powerful 🤔 but it's to make better use for solar energy your solar panels are already producing.

What's the difference between on-grid , off-grid and hybrid solar?

Alot of people hear these terms . Well they're all designed for every different needs .

An on-grid system is connected to the utility grid because during the day your solar panels power your home and any extra electricity maybe send back to the grid depending on your local regulations. But in most cases if the grid goes down your solar system will shutdown too .

An off-grid system is completely independent from the utility grid it relies on solar panels and batteries to power your home making it a good choice for remote areas where grid electricity is not available or is not reliable .

A hybrid system combines it can use both solar panels batteries and the utility grid together so during a blackout many hybrid systems can keep essential appliances running as long as they're designed and installed for backup operations ..

So which one of this systems is good for you?

- if your goal is to reduce electricity bills an on-grid system maybe enough
- if you don't have access to the grid ( socadel) then off-grid is the obvious choice .
- if you want both lower bills and backup power during outages then a hybrid system is often the best fit .

Not every solar system is designed to power your entire home.

The first step is not choosing an inverter it's deciding what you want you solar system to do .

Because alot of people alway told me they want solar. But here's my first question do you want backup up power or do you want to power you entire home ? Because those are two very different goals .

1) A backup system is designed to essential appliances running during blackout .

2) A whole home system is built to handle much longer loads and usually require more batteries , more solar panels and a larger inverter .

One mistake I see all the time is people choosing a backup system then expecting it to run air conditioners water pumps, electric kettles and every appliances in the house when the battery runs down they think the system has failed in reality the problem is usually the expectation not the equipment .

So the right system start with knowing what you want it to do, so before choosing a solar system asked your self one question do you need backup power or do you want to replace the grid ( socadel)?

A 10kwh lithium battery can Last for 20 hour or just 5 hours ?
Here is why alot of people think buying a bigger battery automatically mean longer backup well that's only part of the story after normal system losses a 10kwh typically provides around 8kwh of usable energy .

What really determine how long it lasts is your night load 🤔 so if you're only running lights , TV , wifi and phone charging and a fridge that means your battery can easily last all though the night 🌙 . But once you add an air conditioner your running time can drops to around 8 hours add even heavier appliances and it will be even shorter.

That's why two homes with the exact same 10kwh can all have completely different backup time.

It's not because one battery is better but it's because thier power usage is different so before choosing a battery think about what you actually want to run at night and also do a capacity test to be sure 9f what u have buy ....

Is your inverter battery quietly reaching the end of its life ?

Here are three signs you shouldn't ignore 👇👇

1) reduce the backup time if your battery used to last you although the night but now it struggle to last a few hours it capacity maybe declining .

2) slower charging when a battery take much longer than usual to reach a full charge it may not longer be performing efficiently .

3) frequent low battery warning ⚠️ if your inverter keep showing low battery alert even after the battery has been fully charged 😳 the battery maybe starting to deteriorate.

As a general guide tubular battery typically last around 4 to 6 years why a good quality lithium battery often last 10 years or more .

So if you notice these signs don't wait until the battery completely fails ..

incase you need solar advise 👇👇👇
