The ideal candidate should be perfectly bilingual, equipped with a relevant qualification and extensive experience in a wide range of marketing & sales functions such as communications, digital marketing, advertising, branding, and social media etc.

- At least a business degree/ diploma or advanced degree
( preferred) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

We are looking for a Marketing Officer

Location: Yaoundé

ABOUT THE ROLE
Essoka Security is searching for an enthusiastic and proactive marketing officer with a knack for communicating and a flair for strategizing and implementing marketing campaigns as well as the ability to develop fresh initiatives in line with the company's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will be equipped with a relevant qualification and extensive experience in a wide range of marketing & sales functions such as communications, digital marketing, advertising, branding, and social media etc. To ensure success as a marketing officer you must be an organized person who is able to withstand the pressures of handling varied tasks at the same time and meeting deadlines.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, oversee, develop and manage marketing campaigns for all services and products in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered ·
- Present information about company offerings during events
- Prepare and submit tenders, service offers, proforma and contracts
- Prepare and present reports when needed
- Identify and manage social media strategy for the company
- Identify, organize and attend relevant networking events
- Manage Customer relationships and promote business
- Develop a relationship with existing business partners and identify development opportunities with new partners,
- Perform other duties as assigned by hierarchy

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience of at least 5years as a Marketing Officer or a related role
- Solid understanding of marketing techniques and principles as well as market research and statistical data analysis methods
- Proficient in MS Office, content management systems, social media platforms and marketing software
- Knowledge of design and publishing software
- Exemplary time management, organizational and multitasking skills
- Outstanding verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- Strategic vision and sharp business acumen
