Installing a home elevator. Where does it even start?

Not with a crane. Not with chaos. It starts with a pencil, a saw, and a clear plan.

This is step one — the foundation work. The part that makes everything else possible.

Here's how we do it:

Step 1 — Mark the opening on the floor
Following the design drawing, we measure and mark the exact position of the shaft opening. Every dimension is double-checked against the plan. No guessing. No "approximately here."

Step 2 — Cut along the marked lines
A clean cut follows the markings precisely. Cutting along the line — not freehand — means smoother edges, less patching later, and a neater overall result. This is the kind of detail that separates a professional installation from a messy one.

Step 3 — Drill downward first, then upward
Why this order? When you drill from the upper floor down, debris falls into the opening below. Then when you drill from below upward, you push the remaining debris back the other way. This method makes cleanup easier and keeps the work area cleaner at every stage. Small logic. Big difference.

Step 4 — Confirm position, then excavate the foundation
Before any digging, we verify alignment and level. Then the foundation pit is excavated to the specified depth — typically for the pit that houses the buffers, the safety gear, and the base of the shaft structure. This has to be precise, because every millimeter of the shaft above depends on this base being right.

It's not glamorous work. No shiny elevator parts yet. But this is where the project succeeds or fails — in the accuracy of the opening, the cleanliness of the cuts, and the stability of the foundation.

From flat-pack to a finished panoramic elevator. Three steps. That's it.

No messy construction. No weeks of noise. Just a clean, staged installation.

Here's how it goes:

Step 1 — Aluminum shaft assembly
The modular aluminum frame arrives pre-fabricated from our factory. The installation team positions the base, levels it, then stacks the frame sections floor by floor. Glass panels slide into place as the frame rises. By the end of this step, the full shaft is standing — light, precise, and already looking like an elevator.

Step 2 — Guide rails and drive system
With the shaft in place, the guide rails are mounted with precision brackets onto the aluminum structure. The traction machine is positioned at the top. The counterweight frame is assembled. Every rail bracket is checked for alignment. The moving skeleton of the elevator is now complete.

Step 3 — Cabin assembly and finish
The glass-walled cabin comes together inside the shaft. Floor plate, wall panels, and ceiling with integrated lighting. The control panel is wired and tested. Doors are hung and adjusted. By the end of this step, the elevator is running — silent, smooth, and fully enclosed in its aluminum-and-glass shaft.
