Happy Friday everyone, it's the weekend 🥳. Lots of Fiestas happening so if there is one by you, enjoy it.

We were contacted by this lady as she has been living with what she describes as an eyesore and abomination of a swimming pool surround, boring brown bed of concrete with no personality.

Now this lady in her own words is 'a bit nutty' in the best possible way! As well as the pool surround her pool is 'wonky' so when it is filled one side is always lower than the other and she assured us "it's not the wine" and to be fair it most certainly isn't and further still she has a leak 🥲.

The team have been busy taking off the edge and what a challenge this has been!! purely down to the way things have been constructed, and all the tiles are coming off... But enough said on that.

Just about there and will share the stunning new coping stones we selected for this lady what a difference they will make.

Seating/lying area being installed at the stair end to add a little bit more to this pool and a new grab handle and additional step and a new pool shower.

This client is quite short and the depth from the bottom step into the pool was massive, so the team are sorting this for her with another step.

She has been feeding the lads well with an early morning coffee and tea, sweet snacks and plenty of fluids.

Will keep you posted as thing progress towards the finish line. Can't wait to share it.

We hope that you are all well and enjoying this weather but at the same time being safe, its super-hot right now and likely to get hotter still 😎🔥.

Sorry for the long post! 😮! I would like to start by saying how grateful 🙏 we are for the support we have from our customers and every recommendation given means such a lot not just to me but to the whole team.

It would however appear to be our turn for the negative comments that seem to impact on various businesses throughout the area from time to time. It is such a shame that forums such as these are used for unfounded comments and negativity, rather than using a direct approach and having a direct conversation. As any business owner will appreciate, its hard enough without reading these negative comments. It does not just impact me; it impacts the team.

The comments in question, let’s start with this one which referred to us as:

“Cowboys because they don’t even pay tax.”

I would love to know how anyone not associated with the business would be aware of how I deal with the invoices, bills, customer payments, etc, what I am paying my accountant for every month!

“They just give you and overpriced quote and spend all day in a bar where they get p…ed and have more tattoos done on their legs.”

Again, I would like to know how someone can know this so I will not flatter it with a response. I will say, drinking during working hours I don’t condone and unless the person commenting can back this up with facts I am going to leave it there.

“They went to my friend’s house and ruined her pool.”

If this is the case, I would like to ask if the person who’s pool we “allegedly ruined” contacted me directly? If not, then I not I am more than happy for them to contact me 661148998 WhatsApp or Messenger or happy to meet in person.

I would personally deal with any complaint, as the business owner it is my responsibility to and we stand by the work we do. Thankfully, this is not something that happens so if it ever does you can be assured it is addressed as it should be. In this day, and age a business cannot afford not to look at these things.

Again, apologies for the long one but please know that we really appreciate all the positive comments, recommendations, and feedback we receive.

It is just such a shame that some people want to fling mud and hide behind a keyboard.

Today, Bedar and the surrounding areas are very much in our thoughts with the devastation these fires have caused.

Our condolences and heartfelt sympathies are sent to the families who have lost loved ones.

To the brave fire attendants, emergency services and military personnel who have all been fighting the fires to get things under control, despite the difficult conditions we thank you all, your bravery has shown no bounds.

We have created our to offer you peace of mind as we know that having your own swimming pool is no small undertaking, we are also delighted that the new service we are offering has triggered some positive interest so here is a little more about what the survey currently covers, as this is a new service we imagine it will evolve and grow but here is where it stands just now:

☑ Check pool pump housing
☑ Check pump and sand filter
☑ Pressure test pipework
☑ Check Skimmers, Hoover Port & Jets
☑ Check water quality
☑ Check swimming pool tiles
☑ Check condition of grout
☑ Check coping stones
☑ Check pool heater [if there is one]
☑ Check swimming pool cover

Upon completion we will send you a full survey report with any advisory items that may require attention, or a clean bill of health 👍.

The survey can be done at any time, for a buyer of a new property, we can start the process as soon as you find your new home, we will then visit the property one week prior to you signing on the dotted line to ensure there has been no major change to the property you are buying.

For the seller, when you decide to sell your home, the same applies, we can come out and do the check for you and again, one week before you sign for the sale, we will revisit to ensure nothing has changed.

Happy Sunday everyone 👋 and Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there, we hope you have all had a good weekend as we move towards another Monday.

This is a new Service that we have been working on and having done a few Surveys 📋 as a trial with some new customers, I am delighted to say, we now feel ready to let you know about it 📣📣.

Our Swimming Pool Survey is available to everyone, but we created it with and in mind.

All too often we are contacted by customers who have just purchased their dream home 🏠 only to find out a few weeks in to living there that there a problem with the pool 🏊! We have even had a 'seller' who wanted to have the survey done before he proceeded to selling, he wanted to check he was not selling his house with a pool problem 👍.

Our swimming pool 🏊 survey 📋will cover a multitude of comprehensive tests and checks covering everything from the pool pump, sand quality, coping stones and more.
