Este verano me he animado a tejer algunos tests, y uno de ellos es el precioso de 🌿
Lo estoy tejiendo en Alsili (25% lino, 25% seda y 50% baby alpaca, 400 m/100 g) en color Platinum, combinado con tres tonos de un pequeño conjunto de mini madejas que he teñido especialmente para este proyecto.
La inspiración viene de esos paisajes que aparecen al amanecer, cuando la niebla y la calima difuminan los contornos y los colores parecen más suaves. Romeros, salvias y pequeñas flores silvestres envueltas en una atmósfera casi etérea.
Aún quedan muchas vueltas por delante y todavía no se aprecia demasiado el conjunto, pero ya empiezo a intuir el efecto que buscaba. Y eso siempre es una de las partes más bonitas del proceso ✨

This summer I’ve decided to knit a few test knits, and one of them is the beautiful Wildflowers Tee by 🌿
I’m knitting it in Alsili (25% linen, 25% silk and 50% baby alpaca, 400 m/100 g) in the colour Platinum, combined with three shades from a small set of mini skeins that I dyed especially for this project.
The inspiration comes from those early morning landscapes, when mist and haze soften every outline and mute the colours. Rosemary, sage and tiny wildflowers wrapped in an almost ethereal atmosphere.
There are still many rows to knit and the overall effect is only just beginning to emerge, but I can already glimpse the mood I was hoping to capture. And that’s always one of the most rewarding parts of the creative process ✨
