At the beachfront promenade of Puerto de Mazarron, you'll find plenty of restaurants,
and most of them are nice.
Our favourites are La Farola (traditional spanish) and La Perra Chica (a bit more creative). At the end towards the fishing boat marina you'll find two other favourites: La Nueva Bodegita and El Purto - for great saltbaked fish.

Both are perfect for kids with shallow clear water. Also nice to snorkle.
There are chiringuitos where you can buy drinks, snacks / tapas - and paella on Playa Calnegre

This little trip takes about one hour, and is a mix of valley, mountainview and beaches.

From the house it's about an hours walk, mostly along the seafront.

Here you need someone (or take a taxi) to drive you on the north side of the mountains. Drop you off by the olive-field, and from there follow the path to the highest point of Sierra de las Moreras. Duration about 1,5 hours up and down.

This is a perfect quick walk for the morning or late in the afternoon. Short trip, but splendid view. Duration max one hour.

Have someone to drive you to Playa Percheles, and from there you walk along a dirtroad, mostly along the beaches, back to Bolnuevo.
It takes 2 - 2,5 hours
