Pole barn last month. The foam reaction is a combination of heat generated from the reactor in the truck and a chemical reaction from the 2 parts meeting inside the gun. A v***r barrier at 2" with an r value of 7 per inch with a structure gain of approximately 200% all at the same time.

Better than spray foam!
Aeroseal for the envelope of your new or existing home will give the absolute air tightness for you home than any other method. We do install spray foam also and it is a great product, but by far this system beats it.

These are from a test done in Syracuse by the department of energy. There were 2 spray foam installers selected to apply foam in test panels. These panels we open cell foam filled and trimmed. Each panel had several censors that transmitted to Oak Ridge Laboratories which was the data collection site. The building was 2 stories tall and had many different wall insulations installed.
This was an honor to be selected to this. I will try to find test results and post them.

We just received a call from what we thought was National Grid about a security deposit for the new smart meters they are installing. First call was to inform us of a disconnect at our rental property. They gave me a number to call with a work order number. I called that number and they insisted that there was a disconnect within the next 30 minutes because we had not paid the necessary deposit. The deposit was supposed to be paid at either CVS or Walmart.
I handed the phone to my wife and she talked to them I called National Grid. There is no such deposit and while I was on the phone with NG I told my wife there was no disconnect notice and the scammer hung up.
There is no such deposit and in fact NG says there is a penalty to keep the old meter. These people were very convincing.
