Well updates have been a bit slow this last week but the work has continued. It's just needed a few bits to fall into place.
Added a new access to under the stairs, the existing one will be blocked up.
The wall removal we have been building up to has happened. The steel came, the padstones were collected, the steel is in with props still up supporting everything but today the wall came down.

Today's update, we got the bathroom ceiling up, finished and insulated the other bathroom wall, finished the otherside of yesterday's doorway and started the ceiling in the storage cupboards...
Another action packed day.

Wednesday's update. Whilst he floor was up routed the main power cable and fitting new floors over the top. Finished plasterboarding one side of the bathroom wall and started blocking off a doorway.

Tuesday we were back at the full house works… spent the day removing electrics ready for the wall to come down, refilling walls where electrics used to be and remastering some larger areas

Monday, we finished off a hidden curtain rail, started to prep the stairs for a carpet runner, revealed the bath and filled many little holes throughout the walls and ceiling

Yesterday was a bit of a break from the big house job.
Spent the morning tidying up this front garden, trimming both side hedges followed with moving 73 patio slabs through to the back. Bit of weeding and removal of the old BBQ area

Yesterdays update, bit of a mixed day. Got the two back rooms ready for new plasterboard to go up but ended up spending most of the help helping the roofer get the ridge tiles on and concreting the ends. But the roof is done and looks brilliant.

Well today was a busy one, had an engineer round to discuss how we can remove a wall & what steel would be needed. Looking forward to moving forward with that bit. Took down the bathroom walls, 1 planned 1 needed. It almost fell down itself. We had another fun run to chandlers for more tiles so another round of loading the van, unloading the van and getting on the roof… but the roof is looking amazing now. Just some finishing off tomorrow.

Well this week we have 3 days back at the full house renovation, so here is yesterday’s update… had to make way for a water tank in the boiler cupboard (boiler to come out). Ended up needed more supplies and materials so trip to Screwfix and a trip to Chandlers for 75 more roof tiles ( mall hand load, unloaded and then onto the roof up a ladder) and that sadly was the day.

Well that’s another day, another week finished up. Today started with a trip to get concrete supplies, then removing the ceiling from the kitchen and the ceiling, wallpaper and skirting board from the dinning room. Whilst doing this the solar panels got installed, must say a very tidy set up.
