🔧 A couple more jobs ticked off this week by RFT Services! 💡

It’s not always big projects and transformations. Sometimes it’s the smaller jobs that make a real difference around the home.

This week we’ve completed:

📹 Outside Ring camera/light – installed and connected to the power supply via a fused switched spur.

💡 New bedroom light – fitted a new internal light and tidied up the existing ceiling wiring, replacing unenclosed connectors with the correct ceiling rose connections.

Two more jobs completed and a little peace of mind for our customers that everything is fitted properly and safely.

No job is too small, so if you’ve got a list of those little jobs you’ve been meaning to get done, why not get in touch?

🚿 Another job completed by RFT Services! 🔧

This customer approached us because their existing shower was becoming increasingly difficult to use.

The shower controls were stiff and difficult to operate, the shower door had seen better days, and the shower tray was quite high, making it awkward to step in and out of.

We carried out a complete refresh, including:

✅ New, lower-level shower tray
✅ New shower door
✅ New wall tiles
✅ New shower fixtures and controls

The result is a fresh, modern-looking shower that’s not only more attractive but also much more practical and accessible.

Another happy customer and another job we’re pleased to have completed! 😊

🔨 Another decking project completed by RFT Services!

Today, Jon completed a decking project for a couple whose existing deck was bouncy and unstable due to inadequate framing.

Rather than simply replacing the boards, Jon lifted all the existing decking and reinforced the original frame with additional bracing to improve its strength and stability. New decking boards were then installed, resulting in a smart, sturdy and structurally sound outdoor space for the customers to enjoy. 👌

It’s important that the work beneath the surface is just as good as the finished result!

⭐ Lovely feedback from the customer:

“Jon is a lovely man, done a fabulous job. Would definitely have him here again. Very neat and tidy worker.”

Thank you for your kind words and for choosing RFT Services!

What a transformation! 👏

We’ve recently completed this fantastic project, replacing a large, uneven patio with a beautiful new composite decking area.

The original patio was far from level, with hardly a flat surface anywhere, making it a challenging job from the outset. On top of that, there were five manhole covers that needed careful planning. Through thoughtful design, we’ve seamlessly incorporated them into the decking while ensuring they remain fully accessible whenever needed.

Much of this project was completed during the recent heatwaves, so it certainly wasn’t the easiest working conditions! 🥵 But we’re delighted with the finished result, and we think it has completely transformed the outdoor space.

If you’re thinking of upgrading your garden or outdoor living area, we’d be happy to help. Feel free to get in touch for a friendly, no-obligation chat.
