Here’s the initial video report to the customer, after uninstalling the shower screen.
Remit for the job was to rectify the leaks.
Unfortunately this was not possible by way of a simple uninstall/reinstall, due to the various major errors with the original installation (not one of ours).
It also became apparent that the flooring and supports under the shower tray were also inadequate and the tray had several stress fractures as a result of it flexing whilst being used over time.
End result was to build out the back wall correctly, board out, retile, refurbish reusable items and replace what was not reuseable, then redecorate the two walls of the bathroom affected by the shower works.
A good example of the type of remedial works we frequently carry out for clients. The progression of the fix and the finished job can be seen in the next reel. 😊
