Recent Roof Repair Completed ✔️
We recently carried out repairs on a roof where a few key issues were causing problems:
• Incorrect valley system installed (this is
the channel that directs water off the roof)
• Old roofing felt had perished and was no longer protecting the property
• Mortar on hips and ridge tiles had become loose
What we did:
• Carefully removed tiles and kept them for re-use
• Installed new breathable felt and fresh timber battens
• Fitted the correct dry valley system (a modern, maintenance-free solution)
• Re-bedded and pointed sections of hips and ridge tiles with new mortar
The result is a solid, weatherproof roof using a mix of modern systems and existing materials 👍
