Here's another successful project completed by Mick and Terry recently in Netherseal.

This job involved two chimney stacks that required the installation of new chimney pots and cowls. These additions play an important role in protecting the property by helping to reduce water ingress, preventing birds and debris from entering the flues, and improving the overall safety and functionality of the chimneys throughout the year.

By fitting the correct pots and cowls, the tenant can now use the fireplaces with greater confidence, knowing the chimneys are better protected from the elements and unwanted visitors.

We're proud to have carried out this work on behalf of the Diocese of Derby and would like to thank them for entrusting us with the project.

Here's a recent chimney restoration project completed by Mick and Terry last week in Ashbourne.

The work involved carefully rebuilding a damaged section of the chimney stack and carrying out extensive weatherproofing to help protect the property from damp issues and water ingress. Over time, exposed chimney stacks can become vulnerable to the elements, so ensuring they are structurally sound and properly sealed is essential for preventing moisture-related problems.

The chimney has now been fully repaired, weatherproofed, and prepared to withstand the harsh winter months ahead—as well as the persistent wet weather we've been experiencing recently. To provide additional protection, the chimney has also been fitted with a cap, preventing rainwater from entering the flue and stopping birds from nesting inside.

Another quality job completed, leaving the chimney secure, protected, and ready for whatever the British weather has in store.

We not only seep chimneys and install stove... we also do chimney repairs!🧱🏠
Take a look at this job, where we were asked to look at a chimney stack that was causing some nasty damp in two bedrooms of a property! We were initially going to re-render and re-cap, however we found the bricks under the render badly spalled. So, we took the decision to rebuild! We cleared wet rubble from the base of the stack, rebuilt it and then rendered. A fine job done (even if we say so ourselves). 😊👌
