With precision components housed inside this assembly, traditional abrasive blasting simply wasn't an option. The risk of blasting media finding its way into the internal components was too high.

That's where laser cleaning really comes into its own.

We were able to remove the coating with precision, without introducing abrasive media or compromising the sensitive components within.

A great example of how laser cleaning isn't just about removing rust and coatings — it's about providing a controlled solution where conventional methods aren't suitable.

🔴 Brand new… but unusable.

This brand-new l**e tank had unfortunately taken on moisture while in storage, leaving the internal surfaces badly corroded before it had even entered service.

Rather than replacing the tank, we were brought in to see if it could be recovered.

Using laser cleaning, we removed the corrosion from the affected internal surfaces, including the difficult-to-access areas, without the need for abrasive blasting or aggressive chemicals.

✨ **A satisfying varnish removal job!** ✨

We don't normally recommend laser cleaning on wood due to the relatively low success rate. Every type of timber and finish reacts differently, and the risk of damaging the wood often outweighs the potential benefits.

On this occasion, though, everything came together perfectly. The varnish responded really well to the laser, allowing us to remove the coating while leaving the wood underneath in great condition.

It's a great reminder that while laser cleaning isn't always the right solution for wood, when the conditions are right, the results can be outstanding.
